Chronic Heel Pain

Heel pain is a common foot problem and can become severe and debilitating. There are a variety of causes of heel pain. The most common being plantar fasciitis. 

At Clacton Foot Clinic we can assess using imaging modalities such as diagnostic ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis as well as a  treatment plan to get you out of pain as quickly as possible.

Risk factors for getting heel pain: 

  • Poor biomechanical alignment.

  • Tight tendons. 

  • Flexible foot. 

  • Poor footwear. 

  • Sudden increase in weight bearing exercises. 

  • Walking barefoot.
